TABOR

Tabor was founded in 1420 by the Hussite Taborites . They fought off the dominant Catholics until mid 1430s when the Holy Roman Emporer Sigmund of Luxembourg prevailed. Later the town fell under Bohemia's Jiri z Podebrad and begun substantial economic growth. Today the annual worldwide gathering of Taborites is held here.
